Wiping away the tiers – Christmas Concerts are ON

On 17th December, Bristol moved from Tier 3 down to Tier 2, meaning that our Christmas concerts could go ahead. Planned at 3 days’ notice, two groups of 25 singers were joined by pianist Richard Johnson and percussionist Jeremy Little to perform two Christmas concerts at St George’s Bristol. The audience included not only the hardy souls able to make it to the hall in person, but viewers worldwide who watched them on a live stream.

Featuring a mix of new and traditional carols, the programme included two world premieres, sure to become favourites with audiences for year to come: David Ogden’s A day of glory and Toby Young’s Wassail
