From Broadmead, cross the road running from St James Barton roundabout past the back of House of Fraser and the church is directly ahead of you. The entrance is on Whitson Street, which is the road opposite the entrance to Bristol Eye Hospital. From Upper Maudlin Street where the Bristol Royal Infirmary is situated, Whitson Street runs down the right as you approach St James Barton roundabout, on the brow of the hill just as the road bends around to the right.
Parking is available at meters on the roads around the Priory at £1.60 after 6pm, in the Bristol City Council car park on Trenchard Street at the nightly rate of £1.60 after 6pm, and in NCP car park on Rupert Street (3-4 hours parking is £5.80). These costs are correct to the best of our knowledge but please check that you have paid the correct amount when you buy your ticket!
Travel by car
Via M5: Exit junction 18, follow A4 (Portway) to the centre. At the promenade (St Augustine’s Parade) turn left into Colston Street.
Via M4: Exit junction 19 (M32). Follow signs to Clifton. For dropping-off / picking-up turn into Colston Street, which is the first left after the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).
n.b. Colston Steet is only accessible in one direction from the city centre promenade - when driving either from Park Street/Anchor Road towards the M32.
Parking
Parking is available in the Trenchard Street car park, situated behind Colston Hall. Enter via Trenchard or Lodge Street. Parking, between 6pm and midnight costs £1.60 (£2.60 for over 2 hours on Saturdays), payable at the pay-machines either on entrance (before leaving the car park for Colston Hall) or exit. You may find it easier to pay for your ticket before the show to avoid any queuing on the way home. Easiest access to Colston Hall can be found on floor one of the car park.
Travel by bus
Most buses to the city centre stop at the promenade outside the Hippodrome theatre, where you can alight for Colston Hall. We are situated on Colston Street, behind Colston Tower. For further bus enquiries please call First Cityline: 0845 602 0156 (8am - 8pm)

St George's, Bristol
Directions
St George's Bristol is located in Bristol's West End, just off Park Street. The building is a former church building, situated on the side of a hill. Access is via Great George Street (Box Office entrance), or Charlotte Street (top entrance, dedicated disabled access).
From the M4
Exit at J19, taking the M32 into Bristol.
Stay on the M32 until the end (Newfoundland Street), keeping in the 2nd lane from the right.
At the traffic lights follow the road right into Bond Street and move into the middle lane (next to the bus lane).
Take 1st exit from roundabout (Debenhams and House of Fraser will be on your left) and follow the main road until you get to Colston Avenue/City Centre. Once on the centre, get into the right lane, following signs to Park Street. You will pass the Hippodrome on your right.
Go up the short hill (the Marriott Royal Hotel, College Green and Bristol Cathedral will be on your left), and once on Park Street (steep hill, with shops either side), turn off at the 2nd road on the left, called Great George Street. It is signposted 'St George's Bristol'.
St George's Bristol is a former church which you will find on your right, with steep steps leading up to the column lined front.
From the A4/A37
Stay on the A37 passing Bristol Temple Meads railway station on your right, and follow the dual carriageway towards the city centre.
At St James Barton roundabout, go straight across (either by taking the second exit at the roundabout, or by taking the underpass beneath it). At the traffic lights follow the road straight ahead (keeping the shops on your left) staying in the middle lane, next to the bus lane.
From the M5
If travelling from the North, take the M4 from the interchange, and come into Bristol on the M32 as above.
If travelling from the South, come off at Gordano Services, following signs to Clifton/Bristol.
As you near the city, take the left turning via the Clifton Suspension Bridge (you will need 50p in silver coins for the bridge toll).
Once over the bridge, turn right at the first mini-roundabout, and take the first turning left after the zebra-crossing (Merchant Road). Follow this road until you reach the one-way system (you will see Habitat opposite you).
Follow the system past the front of the shops and stay in the middle lane, forking right into Park Street at the third set of traffic lights. Once descending Park Street, take the second right into Great George Street. It is signposted 'St George's Bristol'.

St Matthew's Church, Clare Road, Kingsdown, Bristol
From the M4/M5
Leave the motorways at the M4/M5 junction where there is a sign for Bristol A38 South (M5 junction 16). Continue on this road for about 5 miles (8km) passing a number of roundabouts and junctions keeping straight until you reach a railway bridge over the road (just after a traffic light junction and left hand bend). Turn right immediately AFTER the bridge into Cotham Brow and up the steep hill. 1/4 mile (400m) up the hill it begins to level off. Turn left into Cotham Side and the church is 100 yards (90m) on the left.
From the south and the city
Follow signs for the A38 North to Gloucester. This is a road that leaves a large roundabout (St James Barton) underneath a large apartment building. Continue north on this road through a number of sets of traffic lights until you reach a mini roundabout. Turn left here up Cotham Brow and then as above.
From Clifton
Opposite the Clifton Down shopping centre on Whiteladies Road turn into Cotham Hill. Continue to a mini roundabout and straight across into Cotham Road past St Mary’s church on the right. At the end of this road (by the pedestrian crossing) turn left into Cotham Brow and immediately right into Cotham Side.
By train and bus
Trains arrive at Temple Meads Station in the city centre. From Temple Meads a number 9 bus stops on Cotham Brow within sight of the church - ask the driver to let you know when you arrive.

St Alban's Church, Coldharbour Road, Westbury Park, Bristol
From Clifton in Bristol:
Go up Whiteladies Road and get into the middle lane at the top of Blackboy Hill. Follow the road round to the right and stay in the middle lane marked 'Redland'. Take the second exit off the roundabout, with the BUPA hospital on your left. Carry on down that road to a roundabout. Turn left, then immediately first right into Coldharbour Road. The church is on your left just after the second turning on the left.
From Gloucester Road in Bristol:
Drive from the arches up towards the traffic lights (away from the City Centre, towards Horfield). At the lights next to 'Amici', turn left, then immediately right at the next set of lights into Cranbrook Road. Keep going to a set of traffic lights, and turn left onto Coldharbour Road. St Alban's is on your right just after the third turning on the right.
From the M4:
Follow the M4 to the M4/M5 junction, then get onto the M5 southbound (South West). From the M5 take junc 17 and follow signs for A4018 into Bristol. Go over 3 roundabouts (1. Harry Ramsdens, 2. Rugby ground, 3, Crow pub on left).Keep going over 3 sets of traffic lights at junctions, until you get to a roundabout - in total 2 miles or so from Crow pub roundabout. At this roundabout, turn left into North View, then immediately right into Etloe Road, which becomes Bayswater Road. Carry on to the end of the road, and St Alban's church is on the corner on your right hand side.
