The combined choirs of 250 singers will be joined by the Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra for this Remembrance Sunday concert. Performance for the Opening of Cabot CircusThursday 25th September 2008 at 7.45pm | Cabot Circus, BristolCity of Bristol Choir teams up with young singers from Merchant's Academy, Withywood and St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School to perform part of David Ogden's Cabot Circus Cantata. The piece is a collaboration between Neville Gabie, the Artist-in-Residence of the development, and David. Together they recorded songs sung in the native languages of workers at the site and David arranged the songs for four part choir. Originally performed in the shell of the shopping centre in October 2007, the choir returns to perform the songs with a brass and percussion ensemble accompanying. Performance outside the new House of Fraser store, open to the public and free of charge.
