What could follow last year's mesmerising performance of Duke Ellington's Sacred Concert by City of Bristol Choir, Exultate Singers, Bristol Schools Chamber Choir, the Big Buzzard Big Band, and be-sequinned tap dancer?

Take 150 singers, a jazz orchestra, a string quartet, star soloists and a genius arranger who's been let loose on the oeuvre of one of the 20th century's greatest composer and this is the result!

The Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival has commissioned jazz and choral genius Ned Bennett to create something truly special based on the much-loved work of George and Ira Gershwin. This world premiere will feature classics including American in Paris, It Ain't Necessarily So, S'Wonderful, Fascinating Rhythm, I Got Rhythm and Summertime.

Starring award-winning vocalist Jacqui Dankworth, Jonny Bruce, trumpet, The Big Buzzard Big Band with String Quartet, Bristol Schools Chamber Choir, Exultate Singers, City of Bristol Choir, North Bristol Wellbeing choir and Clifton College Choir.
